O Divine Steward, You who formed the mountains and calmed the seas, I come before You burdened by the weight of our world’s needs. As stewards of this earth, we have often strayed from the harmony You intended. Lord, remind us of Your words in Genesis, that we are called to "tend and keep" this earth, not to dominate but to nurture. Teach us to listen to the whispers of the wind and the murmurs of the forests, echoes of Your voice urging us towards renewal and restoration. May we find inspiration in Your endless creativity, crafting solutions that reflect Your glory.
Fill our hearts with empathy, O Lord, for those who suffer from environmental degradation—both humankind and all creatures. Empower us to uplift communities, offering solace to the afflicted and ensuring justice for the marginalized. Let not our souls grow weary in doing good, for in due season, we shall reap if we do not give up (Galatians 6:9).
Bless us with the courage to make sacrifices, to forgo convenience for healing, and to embrace simplicity that honors the earth.
