Under Your Wings: A Prayer for Divine Protection and Love

Heavenly Father,

I come before You with a humble heart, seeking Your embrace and the shelter of Your mighty wings. In these moments of uncertainty and vulnerability, I find solace knowing that You are my refuge and fortress, my God, in whom I trust (Psalm 91:2). I lift my eyes to the heavens, confident that Your love surpasses all understanding, wrapping around me like a protective shield.

Lord, You know the trials I face, both seen and unseen, in the world and within my own heart. I ask for Your divine protection over every aspect of my life—physical, emotional, and spiritual. Guard my heart against the anxieties of the world, and protect my mind from dwelling in fear. Instead, fill me with the peace that only You can provide, that peace that stands guard over my heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

In moments when darkness seems to cloud my path, remind me of Your assuring presence. Like a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, gather me close, Lord, and let me rest in Your unfailing love (Matthew 23:37). With You, my fears are calmed, and my burdens lightened. Thank You for being the Good Shepherd, who guides me to still waters and restores my soul (Psalm 23:2-3).

May Your angels encamp around me, delivering me from harm and guiding me in Your truth (Psalm 34:7). Strengthen my faith each day, that I might always hold firm to the hope we profess, for He who promised is faithful (Hebrews 10:23).

As I dwell in Your presence, may I never forget the love that has redeemed me, the grace that sustains me, and the promise of eternal life that awaits me. Empower me to extend this love and protection I receive to others, reflecting Your grace and mercy in all I do.

Thank You, Lord, for Your continuous watch over me. I am grateful for Your steadfast love and faithfulness that renews every morning (Lamentations 3:22-23). In Your wings, I find my rest, my security, and my everlasting hope.

In the name of Jesus, my Savior and Protector, I pray.

Amen.
