Prayer:
Lord, You are our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). I ask that You cover all those suffering from injustice with Your mercy. Be their shield and protector, comforting them in their time of need. Let Your justice roll down like waters, and righteousness like an ever-flowing stream (Amos 5:24).
Father, You created each of us in Your image (Genesis 1:27), and we are all precious in Your sight. I pray for the oppressed, the silenced, and the marginalized—to feel valued and seen. Heal their wounds, both visible and invisible. Grant them the courage to stand firm, knowing that You are with them always.
Jesus, You proclaimed liberation for the captives and freedom for the oppressed (Luke 4:18). I hold onto this promise, believing that through Your divine love, chains of injustice can be broken. As I pray for justice, I also pray for transformation in the hearts of those who perpetrate injustice. Soften their hearts, Lord. Let them encounter Your love and be moved to repentance. Let bridges of understanding and reconciliation be built where there has been division and hatred.
