Dear Heavenly Father,
I come before You with a heart that yearns for Your grace and healing touch. You are the Almighty, the Healer of all wounds, and the source of endless love and compassion. Today, I surrender my struggles and my pain at Your feet, trusting in Your boundless mercy.
Lord, You see the darkness of addiction that has overshadowed my life. It has gripped my body, mind, and spirit in ways I cannot fully comprehend. But I believe in Your promise: “Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” (Matthew 11:28). I am weary, Lord, and I open my heart to Your healing power.
I pray for strength, Father, to resist the temptations that fuel this addiction. When I am weak, remind me, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” (Philippians 4:13). Fill me with Your Spirit, that I may find peace in Your presence and turn to You in moments of doubt and despair. Shine Your light upon my path, guiding me away from the shadows that cloud my judgment.
Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. (Psalm 51:10). Release me from the chains of addiction and help me to embrace a life of sobriety and peace. Restore my body, mind, and soul with Your healing grace.
I also ask for Your comfort, Lord, as the emotional wounds are sometimes harder to bear than the physical ones. Heal the scars of guilt, shame, and pain that have accumulated over time. Infuse my heart with the assurance that I am loved and valued, that I am Your beloved child.
Surround me with a community that reflects Your love and support. Bring into my life those who will uplift me, encourage me, and hold me accountable. Help me to rely not just on my solitary strength, but on the collective spirit of those who walk this path with me.
Father, I thank You for Your never-ending grace and mercy. With a heart full of hope, I embrace this journey of healing, trusting that with You, all things are possible. “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” (Jeremiah 29:11).
Thank You, Lord, for hearing my prayer, for Your unfailing love, and for the new life that I am stepping into with Your guidance and grace. In Your holy name, I pray.
Amen.
